Orders

If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us immediately.

To receive information or a quote on products not purchasable through the site, please use the “Contact Us” form.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Paypal. Please note that your credit card will not be charged until your order ships. A temporary authorization hold may be placed on your card. In the case that not all your items ship together, you may see more than one charge on your credit card.

You will receive an order confirmation from Shipman’s after your purchase is completed. If you do not receive an email, please contact us to request an additional copy.

Shipping


Shipman’s preferred carrier is UPS and unless otherwise specified during checkout, all orders will ship via UPS Ground.

Expedited delivery (2-3 days) is available and will show as an option in checkout. If you prefer overnight shipping, please contact ptretton@shipmans.com for more information.

Orders made before 12 PM EST will ship the same day. All orders placed after 12 PM EST will ship the following business day. This applies ONLY to orders containing in-stock items. Orders received on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays will ship the next business day.

Extended delivery times apply to products coming directly from the manufacturer and items that are on back-order.

Important: All TFT New Force items will ship free of charge. During checkout a shipping cost will be displayed but it will not be charged to your payment method. If you order other products with any New Force items, you will only be charged to ship the other products.

We are unable to ship to PO Boxes at this time.

Shipman’s Fire Equipment’s Return Policy

Shipman’s will refund or exchange any product purchased, as long as the product is in new, unused condition. Refunds or exchanges will only be issued after inspection by Shipman’s.

Returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of receiving the product.

In the case of a defect or poor workmanship, the product(s) may be returned for a warranty repair or replacement.

In order to make a return or exchange, you must first receive an RMA Authorization by emailing hello@shipmans.com.

Once you have received an approved RMA, please print the RMA and include in the package with your item. Customers are responsible for the shipping cost back to Shipman’s. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return/exchange shipments.

Refunds are issued via the original payment method.

“Fire Sale” Clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned.

Returns without an RMA will not be accepted. Shipman’s reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange.

Sales Tax

All purchases made online at shipmans.com will include sales tax based upon the customer’s location and applicable sales tax rate.

We are able to accept orders for tax-exempt organizations. If you are a current Shipman’s customer, please email hello@shipmans.com to receive an authorization code to log into your existing account, which will allow you to pay without sales tax, as well as use your Net 30 payment terms. If you do not currently have an account, please email a copy of your tax-exempt certificate, with your organizations name and information to hello@shipmans.com.
