Using an electric-hydraulic hose coupling expander, capable of 1-1/2 Shipman's can have your damaged hose back in service, or cut and re-coupled to custom lengths at minimum cost in comparison to the purchase of new fire hose.

Prior to repair your hose is inspected for damage and/or defect and evaluated to determine if the hose is suitable for economic repair. (repairs exceeding 60% of the replacement cost are considered Beyond Economic Repair). Existing couplings are removed and a clean razor cut is made to the hose. Customer's existing couplings, if in good condition, can be reused with a new expansion ring or new couplings can be installed. We also offer a service to recouple and retorque to factory specifications 4 Storz couplings for, large diameter hose using field repairable bolt-style couplings.

For new coupling installations we utilize Red Head Brass aluminum couplings, seamless expansion rings and rubber tail and swivel gaskets to insure the highest degree of quality and safety.
